Helen’s stunning 'paper entomology' artworks are a contemporary tribute to the golden age of collecting.
Inspired by her collection of rare Victorian hand-marbled papers, she pins incredibly detailed cut paper insects, butterflies and bugs into place in compositions into box frames utilising museum glass for UV protection, incorporating gold and silver leaf into some of her designs.
After graduating from the University of the West of England in 2001 with a degree in Graphic Design, Helen started her career making pop-up books whilst training as a traditional bookbinder.
