Window by the Sea
The daughter of noted British landscape painter Stephen Brown RBA, Lorriane's paintings inevitably echo her father's work in certain respects; the free-flowing brushstrokes and use of subtle colours in particular. Unlike her father however she specialises in mainly still life and floral subjects, often viewed in front of a window which she uses as a device to 'frame' her subjects.
